Rocking Horse Studio Records Singer/Songwriter Christian Cuff Live In Studio

 

06 September 2009 - Maine singer/songwriter Christian Cuff will visit Rocking Horse Studio on October 3, 2009, to record a live CD/DVD in front of a specially invited studio audience. For this very special event, Rocking Horse Studio's large live recording room will be transformed into a live performance venue.

 

"Christian's music lends itself to intimate venues," states Rocking Horse partner Brian Coombes, who will produce the audio for the event. "The acoustics of our studio enhance the music of artists like Christian, so the audience will witness a unique performer in a pristine listening environment. We've always wanted to do an unplugged music series at Rocking Horse and Christian was our logical first choice."

 

Rocking Horse will record the audio and video for the event, which will be released in late 2009. Rocking Horse partner David Pierog will produce the video portion of the final product. The performance will feature Cuff along with his band, which includes Rocking Horse bassist, Joey Pierog and cellist Jeremy Harman.

 

Christian Cuff's debut disc, Silo, was recorded at Rocking Horse in 2008. The disc was co-produced, recorded, and mixed by Brian Coombes. Cuff and his band have toured internationally to promote the disc, most recently touring Europe in April 2009.
